Review by hotel critic
Da Laura Bed & Breakfast in Lucca offers a blend of affordability and charm. The attentive staff graciously accommodated our early arrival, showcasing a level of hospitality that is uncommonly warm. The room surpassed expectations - clean, comfortable, and inviting. The morning breakfast spread was delightful, offering the perfect start to our day of exploration. While the room lacked some modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, the overall value for the price paid was undeniable. Free bike rentals provided a unique opportunity to explore the city, and the convenient location allowed easy access to both the old Roman walls and the train station. For a traveler seeking a cozy retreat with a personal touch, Da Laura Bed & Breakfast strikes a harmonious balance between comfort, convenience, and cost-effectiveness. Ideal for those who appreciate genuine hospitality and a genuine Italian experience.
